Who is responsible
This website is operated by La Canonica di San Vincenti Società Semplice Agricola, Località San Vincenti snc, 53013 Gaiole in Chianti (SI), Italy (VAT 01329680522). Questions about your data can be sent to the email address on the Contact page.
What this site collects
This site collects nothing at all unless you send the enquiry form. It has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party embeds. Typefaces are served from this site itself rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you visited.
The enquiry form
If you send the form, we receive the name, email address, dates and message you typed, along with the time of submission. We use them only to answer you. The form is handled by Netlify, which hosts this site and stores submissions on our behalf as a processor.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept as long as they are useful for correspondence and for our own records, and are deleted when they are not. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
Legal basis
We process the details in the form on the basis of your request to be contacted — Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR for an enquiry that may lead to a booking or purchase, and Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in answering correspondence, otherwise.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to our processing it, or ask for it to be restricted. Write to us and we will answer. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Server logs
Our host, Netlify, records ordinary technical information when a page is requested, including the IP address and the type of browser. This is standard for any web server and is used for security and to keep the site running.
