What is here
A house, a church, a guesthouse, a cellar, and the land that holds them together.

The estate stretches over some three hundred hectares in all, most of it the oak woods and open hillside that wrap around the hamlet. That is the secret of the silence here: in every direction, as far as you can see or hear, the land belongs to the estate. No road, no neighbour, no noise; only the wind in the trees and the vines at your feet.
At its heart stand a few stone buildings gathered around the church, much as they have been for a thousand years. The house where the priest once lived, the church that gave the village its name, the guesthouse where you will stay, the cellar and olive mill where the harvest becomes wine and oil, and the vineyard and olive groves that climb the slopes around them. Each has its own story, and its own page.
The five of them

The house
La Canonica, the priest’s house of 1014, now the family home at the centre of the hamlet.

The church
The church of San Vincenti, founded in the seventh century and the reason the village exists.

The guesthouse
A house of your own, with a view across Chianti as far as the eye can see, and Aleksandr and Viktorija nearby.

The cellar and olive mill
Where the grapes and olives of the estate are pressed, aged and bottled.

Vineyard & olive groves
The vines and olive trees of San Vincenti, farmed with patience.
